On May 20,2021,the kick-off meeting of the carbon neutralization research project in the field of energy saving of electrical equipment,led by the Shanghai Electrical Equipment Research Institute,was successfully held in Shanghai.The meeting invited technical experts and scholars from China Electrical Equipment Industry Association,Shanghai Energy Efficiency Center,Zhejiang University,Hunan University and more than 20 companies to conduct in-depth discussions and task deployment on the carbon neutralization research project in the field of electrical equipment energy conservation.
Liu Changsheng,Executive Vice President of China Electrical Equipment Industry Association,Wang Kun,Deputy Secretary-General,Deng Wei,Director of Industry Development and Consulting Department,Cui Hesong,Director of Science and Technology Quality Department,Qin Hongbo,Technical Director of Shanghai Energy Efficiency Center,Professor Fang Youtong from Zhejiang University,Liu from Hunan University Professor Xiao was invited to the conference.Jin Weiwei,secretary general of the Small and Medium Motor Branch of China Electrical Equipment Industry Association,presided over the meeting.
Wang Kun,Deputy Secretary-General of China Electrical Equipment Industry Association,explained the general requirements of the carbon neutralization research project in the field of energy saving of electrical equipment.He said that China Electrical Equipment Industry Association was entrusted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to carry out research on carbon neutralization of power equipment and technologies.Among them,the related work in the field of energy saving of electrical equipment was entrusted by the Shanghai Electric Apparatus Research Institute to organize and undertake.This research task is heavy and time is tight.There are three main requirements for the research work:first,highlight the research orientation,be based on the manufacturing industry,comply with the policy orientation and market demand,sort out new scenarios and new models of motor application,and help the power industry to achieve peak carbon neutrality;third 2.Prominent forward-looking and strategic,aiming at this field and industry,focusing on the needs of users,taking the user end as the starting point,and developing a service model that meets the characteristics of users;It is a three-dimensional application model that provides support for formulating industry policies,providing reference for industry enterprises to determine market positioning,and providing reference for user industries to formulate development plans.
Liu Changsheng,executive vice president of China Electrical Equipment Industry Association,pointed out at the meeting that energy saving of electrical equipment is a long-term task.Carbon Neutrality is the energy-saving requirement of the new era.Focusing on customers,taking products as the starting point,we formulate long-term and sustainable development ideas in a short period of time,and continue to improve.
Lian Yaming,Director of the Industry Department of the Electric Machinery Branch of Shanghai Electrical Equipment Research Institute,reported the basic situation of the carbon neutralization research project in the field of energy saving of electrical equipment.He made a detailed interpretation from seven aspects:subject background,overall task,team and division of labor,work ideas,research content,schedule arrangement,and expected results.
Professor Fang Youtong of Zhejiang University believes that new energy is the starting point for carbon neutralization,and the energy saving of electrical equipment needs to find a development path in the field of new energy,such as in the field of hydrogen energy and nuclear energy.Professor Fang pointed out that re-electrification is a feasible direction to achieve carbon neutralization.We should pay attention to basic research such as iron loss models,develop key technologies,and explore emerging means such as electric motors to replace pneumatic and hydraulic transmissions to help motors save energy.
Qin Hongbo,technical director of Shanghai Energy Efficiency Center,said that Shanghai,as a leading city in China,hopes to achieve the goal of peaking carbon emissions by 2025.Shanghai is actively formulating implementation plans for carbon neutralization in various industries,and the Shanghai Energy Efficiency Center is also participating in the establishment of standards for various industries.
Experts participating in the meeting said that it is necessary to consider how the motor can combine with other fields to achieve the goal of carbon neutralization,fully cooperate with the new technology research and development work of the motor,and jointly undertake the high-efficiency energy-saving technology project of the motor and system.In product design,it cannot be out of touch with the user,and it is based on the user side to ensure the reliability of product use.At the same time,for different application scenarios of electrical equipment,such as the cement industry,mining industry,construction industry,etc.,it is necessary to find suitable energy-saving transformation directions for each application field.
The motor companies and motor supporting companies that participated in the meeting made speeches on the theme of carbon neutralization based on the company's situation,shared the company's excellent cases,and expressed that they would actively respond to the carbon peak carbon neutralization in the field of electrical equipment energy conservation.and research projects to contribute to the goal of reaching carbon neutrality.
Jin Weiwei,secretary general of the Small and Medium Motor Branch of China Electrical Equipment Industry Association,said that carbon neutralization is a continuous process.The industry will establish demonstration projects and benchmarking enterprises,and at the same time hope that industry enterprises can actively participate,jointly promote the motor industry to move towards a low-carbon and zero-carbon direction,and help other industries achieve low-carbon and zero-carbon goals.
Finally,Liu Changsheng,executive vice president of China Electrical Appliances Industry Association,delivered an instructive speech.He said that achieving carbon neutrality in the field of energy saving of electrical equipment is something that needs to be done by the upstream and downstream of the industry.Cross-border integration is very important,not only From the product point of view,it is necessary to highlight energy saving,but also to combine design,materials,technology and users,and work hard in various application scenarios,with the help of cross-border integration,and joint multi-industry forces to jointly promote the development of the project.
